Bobcat
Snowblower/snowblade attachments
Bobcat has two winter-related attachments for their
skid-steer loader to help get into tight quarters. The snowblower features a
direct-drive hydraulic motor for the fan and auger, eliminating high-wear
items such as gearboxes, chains, sprockets, and shear pins. With a rotating
chute and deflector, you can point the snow in any direction.
The snowblade quickly removes light or moderate
snow. With the optional end-wing kit for the 7- and 8-foot models, the
snowblade becomes a high-production snow pusher ideal for larger areas.

Schulte
Front-mount design snowblower
Schulte’s 9600F snowblower provides 96 inches of
cutting width in a front-mount frame design that allows the blower head to
be lifted up to 17 inches off the ground. The frame can be telescoped up to
45 inches to accommodate tractors of different lengths. The reinforced
auger, matched with a high-efficiency fan, feeds snow to the fan and ensures
that chunks of ice and hard-packed snow are broken up before being
discharged. The 30-inch four-paddle fan with cupped-blade design
concentrates snow to the center of the fan for improved snow-throwing
distance. The heavy-duty chute rotates 200 degrees.

Quick connect/disconnect hitch
A new snowplow hitch from Henderson Manufacturing,
the FPH100 Flat Plate Hitch, requires no tools for connecting and
disconnecting a snowplow to the truck. One person can complete a connection
in just minutes. The unit incorporates two outboard attachment points along
with the 20-inch primary connection while additional centering mechanisms
simplify truck alignment. A clamping/jack cylinder engages the plow to the
truck-mounted flat plate where the final connection is secured by a
0.625-inch latch pin. All components remain with the plow portion of the
hitch, only the flat plate and C.U.P. 100 connect/disconnect remain with the
truck.

Hiniker Company
Extreme-duty snowplows
Hiniker’s new line of extreme-duty snowplows for
four-wheel-drive pick-up trucks uses a split trip-edge with a 9-inch-high
pivot point to provide protection from higher obstacles such as curbs and
parking barriers. A high-density polyethylene moldboard is used to reduce
friction and provide a corrosion-free plowing surface. The moldboard is
supported by an exceptionally strong, horizontally trussed frame. Ten
laser-cut ribs give vertical strength to the 30-inch-tall moldboard
assembly.
Two versions are available — the conventional
power-angling 7000 series and the patented 8000 series C-Plow (above). The
C-Plow design uses a hydraulically actuated fold mechanism to fold the upper
two-thirds of the moldboard over 180 degrees, creating a rear-facing
backdrag plow. The top of the moldboard then becomes the ground contact
point. A compact, handheld, joystick controller provides convenient control
of all plow functions.

Snowman Snowplow, Inc.
Spreader-compatible pull plow
Snowman Snowplow’s RS spreader-compatible pull plow
is rugged and versatile because of the twin cylinders and heavy steel
construction. The plow is designed for commercial use with full-size, 0.75-
and 1-ton, four-wheel-drive vehicles. The wide-set mounting arms allow
enough clearance for the plow to operate behind most V-box and tailgate
spreaders. Hydraulic-power down pressure scrapes the surface cleaner,
reducing the amount of salt/sand needed for deicing.
Features include a new easy on/off receiver mount;
approved receiver hitch; patented spring trip action to protect the vehicle
and plow; and standard box wings or optional extension wings for large
volume jobs.

Trip-edge plow for skid steers
Loegering’s trip-edge plow for skid steers features
a reinforced diagonal cross bracing for a stronger blade, along with fast
and reliable hydraulics. Moldboards, available in 8- and 9-foot widths, are
built in one continuous piece so the blade skin will not separate from the
ribs. A trip-edge mechanism allows the cutting edge to trip when it
encounters ice or manhole covers, while holding the moldboard rigid — only
the cutting edge trips while the snow load remains in tact. Cast-iron blade
shoes are tucked up and under the base angle to prevent wear and damage
while plowing. Adjustable trip springs allow the operator to adjust the
tension to accommodate the job at hand.
