 Rosco/LeeBoy
Maneuverability in tight spaces

Rear steering with a 6-foot inside turning radius makes the Rosco SweepPro extremely maneuverable in tight spaces. A front-mounted 7.5-foot brush with joystick controls gives the operator excellent visibility and brush control during sweeping. The quick-change brush system enables one person to change the brush core easily and quickly in about five minutes. The sweeper features an 85-horsepower Cummins diesel engine with responsive hydrostatic drive; an all-season ROPS cab with two-door access; and an exclusive brush down-pressure system that reduces brush wear and maximizes brush life.

Elgin
Waterless sweeping

The Elgin Eagle (right) and Pelican waterless sweepers give the operator a choice of completely dry or wet dust control. The patented dry dust-control system operates at all normal sweeping speeds, minimizes filter loading, and extends filter cleaning intervals. Flexible skirts around the brooms provide efficient dust capture and fines removal, yet allow aggressive curb cleaning. The Eagle is a truck-mounted sweeper; the Pelican is a purpose-built version of the classic three-wheel sweeper. Both meet SCAQMD Rule 1186 standards in wet and dry modes.

FFC/Sweepster
Tractor-mounted sweeper

The new style QC brush drive system for tractor-mounted sweepers features a quick-change brush that can be changed without disconnecting hydraulic motors and without the need for additional bearings supporting the brush. The QC is available in single- and dual-motor hydraulic-drive systems in 6- to 9-foot widths for use with 45- to 100-horsepower utility tractors. The big 32-inch-diameter brush provides excellent broom-tip speed for maximum performance. The sweeper is powered by a 20-gallon per minute hydraulic pump driven from the tractor PTO.

Broce Broom
Transfer sweeper

The Broce MK-1 Transfer Sweeper is a four-wheel, self-propelled sweeper designed to sweep material off the roadway, remove the material, and load the material onto a truck in a continuous operation. The sweeper can load to a height of 10 feet, 6 inches straight ahead or to either side.

Keystone Plastics Inc.
Polypropylene strip broom

Keystone Plastics’ fused polypropylene all-pro strips are mounted on their center sweep mandrel to form a full-size, densely bristled, all-pro strip broom. The reusable mandrel fits on existing compression lock cores. Worn strips can be removed without taking the mandrel off the sweeper. One person can simply remove the bolts on the fiber guard on the passenger side of the sweeper, remove the worn strips one at a time, and replace them with new strips. The center-sweep mandrel system is designed to bring all the debris to the center of the sweeping path which helps to load the hopper in the center and prevent elevator adjustment.

SweepEx/TrynEx International
Broom attachment for pickups

The SweepEx TPB-900S 90-inch Pro-Broom Truck Mount attaches to any mid- to full-size pickup truck as well as most brand-name snowplows. The 90-inch mainframe is heavy-duty, 10-gauge, hot-rolled pickled steel. The broom’s hitch replaces the moldboard of a standard snowplow and uses the existing quadrant, A-frame, and hydraulics. The professional-duty broom has eight poly brush rows; an integrated crown and bristle arrangement for tackling tough material buildup; and a dual-angle hood design to shed dirt and debris. Brush replacement is quick and easy with the unique brush-section replacement system — simply detach the rugged end protectors and replace, rotate, or remove the brush sections.
